Hi all
Sorry I have been away from blog land for so long we have had terrible internet problems. After many arguments with AOL we have now switched to BT which fingers crossed has been working fine so far.
This is just a short post but there are a few pics of cards I have done, hopefully will now be back to normal bloging

Hi All
I've had the papers for a while now and can't remember where they are from the pre colored image and stamped sentiments are from Lili of the Valley. Buttons are out of my stash.
Thanks for Looking

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoyed all the Jubilee celebrations. I watched quite a bit of it on the TV and loved every minute of it. I thought the Queen looked lovely in all her outfits as did the rest of The Royal Family.
I made a card for Jon's brother last week as it was his birthday, so here it is

Bowtastic
Hi All
Hope you all had a lovely crafty weekend!
This fortnight's challenge over at Craft Boots is Bowtastic and here is the card I came up with
I have used Dylan in the Daisies Digi stamp only available form Crafty Boots, I have used Promarkers to colour him in.
I made my own back ground using masks and Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The ribbon started of as white but I coloured it using Spun Sugar Distress Stain. The pins and pearls are from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.
Please pop over to the Crafty Boots Challenge Blog and check out the fabby work from the rest of the team and hope you can also join us.
Hope you all have a fab week.

Art Parts
Hi Everyone
Well this has to be a record me blogging two days in a row :)
If you follow me on twitter some of you will have seen that I had my first ever Art Parts delivered on Friday from Crafty Boots and here is what I made with them
I started by covering my square base and scalloped edge with papers from my stash and distressed around the edge with peeled paint distress ink and spritzed with Cosmic Shimmer Teal Wash Mist, in fact nearly everything on this project got a spritz with it lol. I then also covered the flowers with the same paper and added buttons to the centres of them. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley stamped in peeled paint distress ink and cut out with a spellbinder die and edged with stormy sky distress ink, the butterflies are also cut from a spellbinder die, which I cut from white card and covered in stormy sky distress stain and inked the edges with pealed paint to match the rest of the project. I finished off by going around the edge with Summer Blue pva glue.
I also just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has popped by and left comments it really means a lot to me.

Good Luck and my first ever tag
Hi Everyone hope you have all had a good start to the week?
This fortnight's challenge over at Crafty Boots Challenge is Good Luck set by the lovely Sara
Here is my take on it
This is the first ever tag I have made and quite different in style to my usual girly cards covered in flowers lol, but I'm quited please with how it turned out, I also have to say a big thanks to Stephanie-Emma for cutting the tags out for me so I could try making then. Thanks hun it was really kind of you :)
To start with I covered my tag in news paper and then inked over it with my new old paper distress stain and edged the tag with vintage photo distress ink and some faux stitching which doesn't show up so well in the photo , I stamped the image which is from Creative Expressions on to newspaper stuck on card with the same ink and riped the edgeds to give it a distressed feel and again edged with the same ink to finish it off.
The wooden letters came from Cuddly Buddly which I covered in old paper distress stain and over stamped in vintage photo distress ink, the buttons also came from here.
I hope you can pop across to check out the fab projects by the rest of the design team and also join us in the challenge.
Hope everyone has a fab week :)
Love

Tag using Favorite Tool
Hi all
I have just started to makes tags so though I would share tonight's effort with you.
I covered my base tag with a sheet of First Editions Summer Breeze. I think are my fav papers ever!! I then inked around the edge with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
I have used a Lili of the Valley stamp (Dainty Dancing) and coloured her in with Spectrum Noirs, I am loving these pens and finally feel I am getting the results I want :) I cut her out using nesties on my beloved big shot and again inked around the edges with the same distress ink and matted on to brown card cut again from a nestie.
The sentiment stamp is all so from Lili of the valley stamped in the same ink to match with the rest of the tag and cut out with nesties.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon from the Ribbon Girl and the pearls and button are from my stash.
I would like to enter this tag into Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - Favourite Craft Tool
Hope you all have a fab Sunday!

Sunshine Yellow
Hi All
I have been very naughty and neglected my blog for far to long, but I'm back today with my card for this fortnights Crafty Boots Challenge.
It was my turn to choose the theme for this challenge and I chose the colour yellow. Hope you can pop across and join in and also check out the fab projects from the rest of the Design Team.
To make my card I cut and folded a 14.5cm square white card blank and used a Tilda stamp coloured in with Spectrum Noir pens. The papers I used are some Papermaina pastel ones which I've had in my stash for ages and matted them on to coordinated yellow card stock out of my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the buttons and ribbon is also from my stash.
I would like to enter this card in to the Just Magnolia Buttons and Bows challenge.
Thanks for looking and hope you have a great week.

An Award
Hi All
Hope you are all well?
I was very surprised but also really pleased on Saturday to have been given the award from Helen over http://beeskneescrafts.blogspot.com/. Helen and I have been tweeting for a while now and have become very good friends. I was also very lucky to meet Helen in person at the NEC. Helen makes some fab cards so please pop over and visit her blog. I would like to say a big thank you to Helen for giving me this award.
The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.
"Liebster" in German means "dearest", so as part of the Liebster award tradition, I am going to pass this award to 5 blogs that I value, and that have both inspired and motivated me.
To accept the award, you must:
1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.
2) Post the award to your blog.
3) Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.
Here are the 5 blogs I have chosen
1) Emma over at http://emzycards.blogspot.com/ who makes fabby cards. Emma's colouring is wonderful and one day I hope to be able to colour as good as her. So please pop over and take a look at her lovely blog.
Hope you are all well?
